2025 Giving Back to our Sarcoma Families
Sarcoma Support Blessing Bags
On January 10th, we created and posted our amazon registry full of amazing items to help patients get through radiation and chemotherapy! Items included were: Journals, blankets, Aquaphor, chapsticks, anti nausea relief, ginger chews, a hand crocheted yellow ribbon plushie, and many many more amazing items!
On March 30th, the team got together at Live Oak Park and assembled all 16 bags!
On April 25th, We finally got to deliver the bags to University Health Hospital to be distributed to AYA Sarcoma Patients.
If you didn't know: Eryka, Alejandro, and Jake are all University Hospital Patients! We hope to reach more Hospitals and cancer centers in the Future!
Thanksgiving in a Basket
On November 23rd, VSF delivered 3 baskets to 3 Sarcoma Families. Each basket included thanksgiving essentials like green beans, corn, stuffing mix, gravy mix, tableware, foil, roasting pans, decor, and a $100 gift card so that each family can get their turkey, ham, desserts, and anything else they might need!
We dedicated this giveaway to Eryka's Aunt Cynthia Perez Arreola. Aunt Cindy was a Sarcoma warrior who had the most generous heart, always giving to those in need, even if she had little herself. Next year we hope to reach even more families!
Christmas Gift Drive & Party
On Sunday December 14th, VSF gathered with family, friends, and supporters to celebrate Christmas and their 1st year as a nonprofit organization! We met at Luna's BBQ & more for DELICIOUS chopped brisket burgers, ate cookies made by our Founder, Eryka, and then we all decorated sugar cookies! It was a fun night, but most importantly, by the tree were over 100 gifts donated via amazon registry or were brought in to Luna's BBQ & more. We are overwhelmed with emotion by the impact our little sarcoma community has made!
2026 Will be an even bigger and better year, we hope you stay with us on this journey!
