Sarcoma Support Blessing Bags
This year for our blessing bag drive, we were chosen as a KSAT Community Spotlight for the month of July! After our SA Live AND GMSA interviews we received donations via our amazon registry from many of our San Antonio community members!
We had over 32 items go into each blessing bag. A few items included were: Journals, blankets, Aquaphor, ChapSticks, anti nausea relief, ginger chews, Kleenex, Clorox wipes, bathing wipes, todo lists, pill organizers, and many many more amazing items!
On Sunday August 16th, we had 10 volunteers to help put these awesome bags together! (That's double the amount of people from last year!) We were able to put 24 total bags together!!! We are incredibly thankful to our community and volunteers for their heartfelt support!
Delivering Sarcoma Support Blessing Bags
On September 24th The Vasquez Family: Javier, Maria, & Elizabeth delivered 12 Sarcoma Blessing Bags to University Health San Antonio.
On October 13th, volunteers/board members Jake Simei and Baby Samuel delivered 6 Blessing Blessing Bags to Children's Methodist Hospital San Antonio!

Arturo Strong 5K
Arturo was a warrior who fought Ewing Sarcoma with incredible strength, grace, and resilience until the very end. To honor his legacy and keep his spirit alive, those closest to him are coming together to give back to the Sarcoma community right here in San Antonio. Arturo’s fight may be over, but our collective fight against this disease continues.
This year, all proceeds from the event will directly impact multiple local sarcoma patients and their family as they navigate their own journey with sarcoma through the Arturo Strong Grant.
We raised $4,539.26!!
